Academic Affiliations
Since my early schooling I have had a desire for creativity that ignited my lifelong passion for research with an intention to produce novel products for humanity.
I moved progressively in my academic career overcoming many obstacles on the way, and always looking for means to inspire myself, my colleagues and my students towards the path of innovation that will serve humanity. My academic affiliations followed this route:
From February 2000 to February 2010 appointed as lecturer at the School of Economics and Business Sciences, Department of Information Systems, University of the Witwatersrand.
During my sabbatical leave in 2007 accepted a position as a part-time senior lecturer at the Faculty of Management, Department of Business Information Technology (BIT) at University of Johannesburg (UJ). Received an offer from HR to join UJ as an Associate Professor.
After early retirement in 2010, relocated to University of Zadar, Croatia, where I was appointed as an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics from March 2010 to December 2012.
At the beginning of January 2013 my family moved back to South Africa, because we wanted to be surrounded by South African warm climate and people. On my return I was appointed as Associate Professor at the School of Computing, College of Science, Engineering and Technology, UNISA.
In 2016 to date, appointed Research Fellow at the Department of Science and Technology Education, College of Education (CEDU), UNISA.
