Welcome to the IMCS 2017 International Multidisciplinary Conference on Security Web Site. The IMCS 2017 Conference aims to attract a broad spectrum of stakeholders both formally and informally involved in multidisciplinary aspects of security. This will include researchers and educators from academic international/regional institutions as well as experts from governments and industry, students and security activists with a focus on Security trends, innovations, concerns, and challenges.

This 1st Conference on Security is organized by the Security Awareness Group at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Moscow, Russian Federation.

Objectives

The primary objective of the IMCS is to promote the science and technology of Security and serve society through building a body of knowledge and projecting people’s voices on Security awareness in various disciplines and discourses. In recognising that Security awareness is essential to the full respect for human dignity and realisation of human rights the objectives of the Conference are to:

  • Provide a framework for collaboration between researchers and professionals working on security issues, irrespective of race, colour or creed, or of geographic location;
  • Provide a leading multidisciplinary forum for academic scientists, researchers, and practitioners to share experiences, research results and the solutions adopted in the field of security;
  • Promote the role of security awareness in the advancement of peace and good governance and the exchange of knowledge between the academia and the economy.
  • Foster security awareness initiatives and to build networks amongst stakeholders across the world;
  • Explore the role of security awareness in advancement of the rights of individuals and vulnerable groups, and
  • Support and promote the UN objectives on security.

Call for Contributions

All academics and professionals are kindly encouraged to submit their papers and e-posters describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental, or theoretical work in areas of Security. We cordially invite research contributions around the theme ‘Empowering People through Security Awareness: Security Serving Humanity’ and welcome contributions that address the following keys issue:

  • Communication technology and digital security.

The IMCS 2017 will be held over two days, with presentations delivered by researchers from the international community, including presentations from keynote speakers.

Conference Proceedings

All the submitted papers will be double peer reviewed by a minimum of two reviewers, and all the registered papers will be submitted to be indexed in the Google Books and Google Scholar, SCOPUS, and EBSCO. The conference proceedings and certificate presentation will be distributed to the conference participants at the conference registration desk.

Important Dates

  • Submissions due (extended): Open from 1st October 2016 until 1st March, 2017.
  • Authors Notification: 1st April 2017.
  • Final paper submission and authors' registration (Camera Ready): April 25th, 2017.
